Greetings!
Tori Anderson is a multi-faceted, award-winning pianist and teacher. She is currently pursuing a double major in both Piano Performance and History at Utah Valley University, minoring in Russian and German languages. She is also working toward a UVU Certificate in Collaborative Piano. Her range of interests informs her dedication to exploring musical meaning through history and language.
​Tori is an experienced pedagogue, coaching successful students in Utah festivals and competitions. She regularly presents masterclasses, studio recitals, and pre-concert lectures. A member of the Utah Music Teacher’s Association (UMTA), Tori’s research interests include the pedagogy and philosophy of Heinrich Neuhaus.
Tori has performed in various ensembles, including piano quartets, trios, duets, choirs, and orchestral performances. She incorporates collaborative piano in her teaching by coaching student groups of all ages and levels. She is also a member of the Collaborative Pianist Guild of Utah.
At Utah Valley University, Tori is studying with Dr. Gerta Wiemer and Dr. Hilary Demske.​
